There are slight changes, but as we all know our vision changes throughout the day, depends on many factors but as near as makes no difference things are unchanged. I easily got 6/5 corected in both eyes.
I asked about other types of lenses which may allow me to race again and next month I go for a Kerasoft fitting. Need to go 24 hours without lenses just to make sure the RGP's have not had too much of a flattening effect on the cornea. They have said there are no guarentees because with RGP's i am off the scale, but some optoms have had succes fitting Kerasoft lenses to more adbvanced cases of KC than these lenses would normally be used for.
Have been told that with the dry eye problem I have and the less gas permeable nature of these lenses that in my cases wearing them like I do RGP's would be inadvisable, but fine for the occasional use for racing and as a spare pair. That is provided we can hit at least 6/6 as this is the limit for getting my MSA licence reinstated.
So excited I have given my friend so much GBH of the ear hole, he has given in and will let me for drive his Escort Cosworth in the Classic Car Show live action arena at the NEC this weekend
