bit the bullet

Postby space_cadet » Tue 18 Jun 2013 11:33 am

and have an appointment for 1030am tomoro (weds)

appointment is for a independent perspective if anything could be of benefit for my right (transplant) eye. After a half hour chat on the phone n they say they will work with me and my GP n if there is something in their opinion which may help n they cant offer it they will have me refered out of area thus avoiding the hospital whom have neglected to remember I exist since January last year who I have lost all confidence in.

Good luck Lea ! For what it's worth, I think you're doing the right thing here. I not infrequently get the distinct impression that the healthcare system does not always by itself produce the best outcomes for us and we have to help it on it's way a bit... Or a lot.

Fingers crossed for you.

Cheers

Chris
