Lea

don't worry too much if lenses fail; not all lenses are suitable for everybody with KC. that's why there are so many lenses out there for folk with our condition.

Every time they fail with a lens, it brings you nearer to the one that will succeed.

Every good wish.

as Andrew has said, there are loads of different lenses out there to try. I know the contact lens fitter tried loads of different options with me the first time round, and then went on to try even more when i stopped being able to wear the original set.
Try and look postive as Andrew says, each incorrect lens just narrows the field down until you get to the correct lens for you. You wont get the vision until the fitter has found the right lens and then they will tweak the prescription to get the best vision for you.

It's October on Thursday! Not too long to wait.

Meantime, think beautiful thoughts about something beyond the fitting.
