Hehe thanks for the offer Gareth!!! :)

I am getting there now! It is weird balancing it on two fingers but practice makes perfect!! You are right about only using a little solution! More than one drop and it slides off your finger so dam quickly!!!

I am very happy with my left lens as I could never tolerate one in that eye before and have now been wearing one for ten hours straight! :D  I have also got 3D vision which is dam impressive as it is the first time ever!!! It has been odd putting a lens in this eye though as I could never tolerate one before, but everything is much more balanced!!

With my right eye though I am sorry to say that the vision is better with piggy backing a soft and RGP :( I have tried a few times with wearing this kerasoft to work, but then get frustrated as I can't see as well as I normally can so change back to piggy backing. It is silly, as on the chart I can see better with this kerasoft! It's just that when I am wearing it I know that I can see better which is important for me in reading patients notes and drug charts. It feels like it is slightly 'cloudy' which I would think if it was a RGP that I need to take it out and clean it!!!

I am seeing Lynn tomorrow so will check with her, as I would like to wear these new lenses in both eyes as they are so comfortable. I am also hoping that it will improve the extra blood vessel in the right eye which Moorfields are concerned about.

How are you getting on with the lenses? Can you see any better?

Hope to talk soon!! Loads of love, Claire X x X

I've had Kerasoft 3's for a couple of months now and tbh have never had a problem putting them in - I fill the lens with solution, then tip it out and insert with one finger. Does that make sense?

Still struggle more with getting them out and can take up to 5 mins sometimes.

I'm seeing Lynn tomorrow too!!

Still seeing really well, I get 6/5 in the left and the right has dropped from 6/5 to 6/6 so they are still performing exceptionally well.

I see Lynn in a couple of weeks.
Gareth
