...................snot like.
Each morning when I wake up my grafted eye is really dry. When I go to th mirror and look at the eye there is a mucous like substance that is in either the pocket of my lower lid or the corner of my eye.
It is a khaki colour green and has the texture of mucous. I originally thought that this is the substance that is causing my lid margin disease and the steroid rub i have been prescribed is releasing it from my eye lids. However, it is not the same for my good eye. i would have thought the lid margin disease would be the same for both eyes and I am rubbing the steroid rub onto both eyes too.
Anyone got any idea what this could be? I have taken a photo of it to show my consultant when i next see him.
I can only describe it as.....................

I have put a picture of the slime on my blog. Take a look. You will need to click on the image to enlarge it so you can see it properly. http://www.mycorneatransplant.blogspot.com
