Eye infection - meh

Postby space_cadet » Sat 06 Jun 2009 1:24 am

My fiance has developed a 'sty' and now I am stressing as had so many of them in the last 3-6months I am praying I don't end up with one as if I do I will cry.

Had my parents insist on using every bright light they could find in their house earlier on which left me asking them to dim them a little bit and get told 'no' (despite me trying to explain to them why)

So meh, going to have to go the walk in centre which is also has my new GP's in the same building tomorrow as they are in the same building, as would rather be cautious than stressing (which may as well be a unoffical hobby for me, or at least that is how I feel a fair bit)

At least I now live iwthin a 20min walk of St James' hospital who I pray have someone their who is around at weekends and out of office hours incse the walk incentre cant deal with me for whatever reason.

Has your fiance ever been given systemic antibiotics for his 'sty'? My ophthalmologist prescribed a long course of something-or-other, and it cleared my sties right up!

This morning he decided that it isn't, my left eye is bothering me but I haven't made up my mind if I am going to go to the walk in centre or not about it. It isn't anywhere near as bad or sore, swollen, infected looking as it normally looks so thinking of leaving it for now.
