Don't leave it too late!

Postby Anne Klepacz » Sun 31 May 2009 10:30 am

This year's national KC Group conference in Glasgow is only 3 weeks away. There are still places available, but we'll need to give final numbers to the caterers a week or so beforehand. So if you'd like to come, please get your booking form back to us by 13th June. If you haven't received a booking form, e-mail me on anne@keratoconus-group.org.uk and I'll send you one. I look forward to seeing lots of you there!

I've put this information on another thread where people were talking about where to stay for the conference, but if anyone is looking for cheap overnight accommodation, Strathclyde Uni offer a single room and breakfast for £35 a night. Committee members organising the conference will be staying there - it's very close to the conference venue. If you'd like more details, please e-mail me on anne@keratoconus-group.org.uk

I really want to come up to Glasgow for this, due to a) want to be at conference b) my wedding is less than 3 months away and in Glasgow and I need to get a hair trial. My in-laws to be live 40mins drive from Glasgow and I owuld stay iwth them but they are on holiday :(

Still tempted, will make up my mind tomoro.

Also got invited to another conference on same day in Birmingham which I really want to be at but for other reasons, a friend said to me 'but Lea surely you can do both in same day!' to which I said 'I know I am your personal super woman but due to mileage for me that is not possible'.
