There wil be a new form of Intac on public displa tomorrow evening.
No, not a different shape of plastic ring to implant in one's eye.
This one is a racehorse - running in the 6.05 at Kempton Park tomorrow evening.
I saw him at Plumpton earlier inthe season, winning a novice steeplechase, and later finishing second to a hot favourite.
According to the Racing Post website, he's likely to start as an outsider tomorrow - but anyone interesting in seeing how he gets on, feel free!
I'm intending to go to Kempton races, so will report back.
Before anyone asks - it would be very fitting if he were owned by a team of optometrists - or even a company who make implantable rings, but I don't think so. The name is an anagram of his mother's name.

Re: New form of Intac
Having spent an evening at Romford Dogs last night I need a tip and, despite the long odds, anything will do right now. Lump on!

Re: New form of Intac
Not meant as a tip - just an interesting piece of, well, sporting trivia, maybe!
Intac ran this evening, and finished last! Actually, he was in about 4th place just behind the leaders for a circuit, then dropped back amongst the stragglers, then found a bit of second wind and ran on again, and then tired again near the end.
He'd only had 4 races over jumps before, and only one previous run in a steeplechase, and was running against experienced handicappers, so probably didn't do too badly - as horses tend to take time to learn to jump steeplechase fences slickly. SO I'll go on keeping a watch out for him in future.

Re: New form of Intac
I didn't back him in the end. I instead chased a Ryan Moore winner at Windsor but he decided to finish second four times in a row. Add to that a day spent in the waiting room of a certain London eye hospital and then signal failure on the train journey home it has been a great day. Night!

Oh oh!
I know all too much about hours spent sitting in eye hospital waiting rooms.
And signal failures.
What a day indeed.
Sorry to hear about the second-itis. Saw some of Windsor races on the TV at Kempton. Stupid peice of planning, putting both Windsor and Kempton races onthe same evening - must have reduced both crowds, and to what end?

Re: New form of Intac
Ryan Moore likes to do that to me. Tongith it was Mccoy, although thanks to a 14/1 shot at Limerick and a nice ride by can't remember who in the 7 at Bath I got my money back!
That wait in the hospital ...it was only an hour this time....things are improving.
