Great blog; do you use the little plastic eye sheild? I wore mine at night for LONG time, precisely because of the risk of my rubbing my eye in that semi-conscious moment that lies between sleep and being awake.

All the best

Hi Andrew

yep I wear it for sleep. I have too because I have a BAD habit of rubbing my eyes and I sleep on left hand side. I poked and rubbed my eye watching telly on the sofa and I think for those moments I forgot I had lots of stitches and a new cornea! It does smart though and I will be trying not to do that again!

I think we have all rubbed our eye at some point post graft and turned the air blue.

From memory, I don't recall anyone having made the mistake more than once :D
