Glad things are marginally improving, Rosemary.

It does seem plausible that some of your problems are related, just as Hilary sees a possible link between her light and taste hypersensitivities. If might be very helpful if only somebody could work out the exactly mechanisms, but that may even be beyond the current state of medicine.

In any event, I hope things continue to improve. Take care,
Barbara

Well, I'm very glad I keep my next booked appointment with Terry, rather than moving it earlier and rebooking a month later!
The nexk is bett/ER/ but not quite right. I'm no longer in regular agony but still get my teeth twinging occasionally with neck-put-out nervy hangling. SO I'm glad it's getting straightened again on Wednesday.
The eye is still as red, dry and sandy as when I went to A&E and they told me it was "teething troubles" wth the anti-glaucoma drops and would soon wear off! - except the midge ite on the eyelid has gone down...!
It's current pressure rating, I oviously (?) can't measure myself.
I suppose I ought to try putting the new lens in again at least once before I next take it to see Our Ken next week, but really don't feel encouraged by the look of the thing.
Left eye is playing up a lot - complaining of overwork.
Maybe it is being generally tired that doesn't help - a friend I do temping for from time to time has been going through a busy spell and musterin gthe reinforcements, just at the time when my part-time job for the council is coming along too!
Went up to the TOwn Hall this morning ith latest batch of returns, intending to go straight on to Plumpton races.
Realised at TH I'd come out without my shades. Oops.
Just have to hope," I said to one of team leaders when we established I hadn't put them down on her desk my mistake, "that the sun doesn't come out before I get home."
It didn't - it turned very cold, wet, windy and generally gloomy.
You get a great grandstand view of the horses inthe parade ring at Plumpton races from the roof of the members' restaurant. But it isn't the best place in the world to be in bad weather - trying to stop the hat blowing away, the binoculars getting filling with water, the Racing Post turning to papier mache and the person getting all damp cold and shivery.
This even before the left eye started to itch and stream so uch had to take the lens out of it. ANd trying to grope one's way down the steps from the top level to the ground and over tothe racecourse betting shop to find out the results from the other meetings all with no lenses is, errrm, interesting. Could do with white stic to find where next stop has got to....!
