2007 Conference DVD

Postby Anne Klepacz » Sun 24 Aug 2008 10:11 am

Hi all
The DVD of the KC conference we held in 2007 has now been sent to all our mailing list members, along with the latest newsletter. If you haven't got it yet, it should be with you on Tuesday.
If you live in the UK and aren't on our postal mailing list, but would like a copy of the DVD, please e-mail your name and address to anne@keratoconus-group.org.uk and I'll post a copy to you. The DVD includes a talk from consultant Mr Sheraz Daya on collagen crosslinking, Intacs and latest developments in transplant surgery, a couple of members giving their Intacs stories, a talk from Dan Ehrlich, Head of Optometry at Moorfields on all the contact lens options for KC, and Lynn White talking about KC provision in the community, plus question and answer sessions. So lots of useful information!

Anne,

can you send me a second copy along with the 205 DVD so I can pass on to the Occupational Health nurse at work?

Thanks

Gareth

Is there a way of getting this dvd for a non-UK citizen?

Hi Lars
We're delighted that we have so many forum members from all over the world and everyone is welcome to our website and to the forum. However, we are a UK charity with limited resources so I'm afraid the DVDs and booklets we produce can only be sent to people with a UK address. We do try to put as much information as we can on the website, including leaflets about KC for schools, colleges, and employers which can be downloaded from the home page.
And of course, we all learn from each other on this forum.

Hi Michelle
I have the spare DVDs we had made for new members joining up, and I've just tested one which is fine. So I'll put it in the post to you. If anyone else has a DVD that doesn't play to the end, please let me know and I'll send you a replacement.
Anne
