here's the deal. My eyes don't work too well together. I have glasses for one eye and Im trying a lens for the other. Even with this mix' I get different size images so I see double. Any ideas about a solution?

Yes, plenty of ideas - but I am an optometrist and its your optom you need to see!
Seriously, there are things you can do optically to solve this problem. One of them is to change the power of your contact lens and compensate with putting more power in your glasses on that side - this may help to level up the image sizes. How to do this exactly is way beyond possible for me to say without having your refractive details!
Go back to your optometrist and explain and they should be able to sort you out.

Thant Lynne. I made the call today and will see my optician next Friday. I'll let you know how I get on.

All the best with that, private. There are others who will be glad to know how that consultation goes.
Oh, by the way, congratulations on your first 'eye'
