Lost my lens

Postby AlexMorgan » Wed 20 Feb 2008 9:47 am

I've had a Kerasoft lens for my right eye for just over a year now. It's become a part of my life and I am aware how much I depend on it. So imagine my frustration when yesterday morning I dropped it putting it in and I cannot find it in the bathroom, I've looked everywhere but it has basically disappeared. I've been told it will take a week to get a replacement, so at the moment I'm off University because I went in yesterday without the lens but I got a terrible headache from trying to look at the projection board thing. I can't drive, I've tried without before and it's just really dangerous. So i'm stuck in the house. This has really enabled me to see (no pun intended) just how bad my eyesight has gotten without correction. Has anyone got any advice for me to try to carry on living a normal life while I wait for a replacement?
