New treatment for KC?

Postby timtim » Fri 09 Nov 2007 5:28 pm

I came across this on another keratocus forum. I don't know much about it, or how it relates to other surgeries, but let's hope it's a promising new discovery.

There doesn't appear to be a lot of info about it on this site, but the person who wrote about this on another forum said that there was a segment about it on their local evening news, and apparently the doctor said this treatment is guaranteed if the measures of the cone of the eye were taken accurately.

thanks for that link. Like everybody else I hope each new development will be the magic bullet for KC, but like others I have to work hard to keep up my serial optimism. This report does look a bit promising; maybe it will be of help to at least some folks with KC.
