I found Gareth's towel method works for me too when I can actually manage to blink them out. I use a towel (whether putting them in/taking them out over a sink or not) as a matter of course now even with my soft lenses as I often drop them or they fall out when I'm trying to put them in!

But hope you get your replacement soon.

It def isnt the fit, it never falls out of its ow accord.
The towel it is then :D Spoke to my optom and he said replacement cost is £50.50 and he will get it for me as fast as poss.
I managed a bit better today, not as tired and no bad head.
I know what you mean about having a bad eye day and being restricted to one eye Eddie, you dont have many options left when only wearing one lens do you?
I am off work tomorrow so not too bad :)

I have my replacement lens!! Its been a long week with only one lens! Feels odd though, I think I was getting used to only wearing one lens and my eye had got used to having no lens. Back to building up wear time again!
There is no way I am taking any chances when removing them now! I lay a towel on my bed and lean over it then blink the lens out.
Looking forward to watching tv with both eyes open tonight :shock: :D

I understand how you all feel,i have lost my lenses on numerous occasions.The first time i lost my lenses was at christmas time under the tree.I never did find them.Also i collected my lenses from the hospital once,i sat outside trying to put them in and they blew away in the wind.:D

I will have to pay £50.50p for the lens, not paid for any of my lenses yet inc the one I lost!
It feels very strange to be looking out of 2 eyes!
Dust? Nah selective vision means i have not noticed it yet :wink: :D

Excellent day today,I had my 4 week check up and the optom said that he wont need to see me for 4 months and that everything looks fine! He is happy with the wear time and that there is no problems with the fit :D Then I told him I get working tax credits and found out that I dont have to pay for my lenses at all! He also said he wasnt going to charge for the replacement lens :D
To quote Justin Lee Collins.......'Good Times' ! :D :D :D :D
Just need my KC to stabilise now ....fingers crossed 8) :D

Somebody complimented me on my driving yesterday - they left a note on my windscreen "Parking Fine" which was nice.
KC managed with softperm lens in left eye, Intacs (2/11/07) in right eye
