Not bad, but not the result I hoped for.

My appointments today went something like this.....

Refraction - vision continuing to improve, therefore no precription as it has not stabilized. At which I said I was hoping to be fitted with a lens and was told my consultant would answer any queries.
Corneal clinic - graft looks fine. I asked if I could be fitted with a lens yet. He said from a cost point of view they sometimes hang on but he was happy for me to be fitted asap.
I then went to arrange a contact lens fitting, first appointment was SEPTEMBER! I had a bit of a gripe at this stage and tried the 'I'm a member of staff' angle. I eventually got an appointment for the end of July and in the meantime hope for a cancellation.
I'm sure I'll get there eventually, but it's frustrating to be struggling on when I'm sure I just need a piece of plastic (RGP)!!!
