Appointment time again on Monday, now 17 months post graft. Really hoping to try a lens and hopefully have binocular vision again.
OK I've shared my excitement, I'll try to think of other things until monday. Here's hoping the appointment will not be cancelled nor will it be the usual of just see how things are in a couple more months!
Can't wait!

Val, we will have to talk again on tuesday. I also am off to the Optician on Monday, hopefully for a contact lens......perhaps wide enough to cover or bridge the bumps on the graft. I guess this clinic in on the "hurry up" plan as this will be my Oct. 2006 graft eye. Here, they want to start fitting lenses at about 3-4 months if possible. What I really want is to stop seeing the multiples and ghosts at close range, be able to wear normal reading glasses and see well enough to drive again.
Anyway, best wishes with your visit........hold out for the best vision possible, for I fear that once you say OK and shake the Doctor's hand you (or I ) am off the list and won't get any further help.
Cheers, Piper
