something good from my KC!!!

Just wanted to share a recent event that came about pretty much due to my KC. I went to the All Tomorrows Partys music festival at glamorous Butlins last weekend, which was headlined by Nick Cave, who I have worshipped for many many years (hope someone has heard of him because no one I know has!!). Anyway, he played 2 sets and I couldn't see a thing at the first because, well, I just can't really (haven't been able to wear lenses for a couple of months now cos of stupid ulcers). The next day, he was wandering around the site (my boyfriend pointed out), and totally contrary to character - I'm really very shy and have no confidence in talking to anyone - I went up to him and said I wanted to say hello as I couldn't see very well so I wasn't able to watch his set or see him on stage. He then leaned in really close to me so I could get a good look!

So, because of my KC I got to meet Nick Cave, I always thought there should be something back for all the pain and inconvenience - hooray!
