Yup, we have all had this at one time or another. My lenses only pop out if I blink hard and am looking to the extreme outside edge of my field of vision, so looking right and my rigth lens may pop out.

Because I know under what situation this happens, I am now in the habit of turning my head more.

Elizabeth, have you tried to get a referal to Moorfields as we discussed.

Try and get to see ken Pullum as he did say he thought he might be able to help you.

Hi Elizabeth

Yes in the early days when they were trying smaller hard lenses if i moved my eye rather than my head and blinked it sometimes popped out, i cant focus with the 1 lens (it made me feel sick) so i could never see it so id panic freeze on the sport terrified incase i stood on it and id just shout for help and let them find it (funny after the event  )

Im sure thats happened to most of us at some point.

luv

hi
the funniest incident i ever recall( though not funny at the time) was when my left lens popped out in the middle of a packed out post office on pension day  , i shouted out in the middle of the queue for no one to move , i've lost my lens on the floor and i cant see, it was so funny to see all the pensioners drop to their knees and help scrabble around on the ground for the wayward lens, incredibly we found the little blighter
