Anna

I am afraid that I am having an over 50s moment and cannot remember the details. I was, however, allowed to use one or other of my various contact lenses while using Chloramphenicol.

If in doubt, phone the clinic where the chloramphenicol was prescribed.

If you are permitted to use chloramphenicol with either or both of your lenses there are rules you will have to follow:

Take the lenses out before inserting the drops.
Wait a little time before re-inserting the lens. (I think I was told about half an hour).

If in doubt, check it out!

Anna
oooh - I might just have to develop an eye problem next time I'm visiting my brother then!
Hope your eyes are better soon.
