Question for the girlies please...(although guys you are more than welcome to answer of course!)
I forgot to ask about wearing eye make up when I got my lens the other day. Having worn soft lenses I'm reasonably au fait with do's and don'ts but wondered if there is anything else I need to be aware of when wearing RGP's? I've rather got out of the habit of wearing much (make-up!) since I've been off work but with a possible (hopeful) return in a few weeks I need to get my confidence up a bit by making the effort again!
And if anyone can recommend a mascara that really doesn't leave fibres around I'd be ever so grateful!!

Hey Pat, I'm a lipstick girlie too. I recommend Lancome's waterproof mascara [and their remover], not the cheapest but they are good in my opinion and I've tried most brands, all price ranges.
My top tip for easier removal of waterproof mascara is dip the cotton bud in the remover then roll the bud across the lashes, you can even rest the lashes on a finger.
I find eyeshadows vary in flakiness too, my preference is Mac.
Otherwise, never use eye pencil on the inside of the eyelid because that's not skin.

Pat,
Hey there! I am not specific on saying which make up to try as i don't even buy ones for sensitive eyes! It is more a nice one from No 7 which curls lol!!
The main thing as Louise said is not to use eye pencil on inside of eyelid. Also be really careful when removing any eye shadow and mascara. Don't press on the eye to remove it. I pull the corner of my eye and press on the skin near my eyebrow and below my eye so that it is nowhere near the eye.
Hope that helps! Sweet X x X

Hi all
I just gave up on this one! (and have never gone back).
Wet nappies, poor vision and newly fitted contact lenses just didn't give much time and when I did make the effort I seemed to manage to suffer for it the day after!
Hope you can find something suitable.

don't let the people that mean nothing to you get you down, because in the end they are worth nothing to you, they are just your obstacles in life to trip you up!
