I noticed this when I was last there, usually a poster is on the wall at the contact lens clinic, it needs to be there

How about a poster with the springy eyes glasses?!!! with the caption, 'having problems with lenses?'
Or, a picture of a sceleral lens with the caption, 'how to play frisbee' [sorry Ken].

New poster up at Moorfields

Postby Elizabeth Mair » Sun 14 Jan 2007 9:27 pm

Anne and I put the big new poster up at Moorfields on Saturday after the committee meeting.
(Just thought that people in Scotland would like to know - the template of our poster was used for the one that Moorfields have now.It is also like the one that went up in Gartnavel hospital(Glasgow) which got the Scottish group started.)

Excellent news.

The old poster was a little on the small side, curiously, like many at Moorfields.

I am always amazed that I have to get up close to read their posters

I've just come back from Moorfields and the poster has gone again! It was there when I arrived just before 2pm but it had vanished by the time I left at 3.30pm. Let's hoope that it was only taken down to show someone and has now been replaced.

Self Help Group poster at Moorfields

Postby Anne Klepacz » Tue 16 Jan 2007 8:53 pm

Lia - panic not! I've had an e-mail from the clinic today thanking us for the poster and saying they were taking it down to get it laminated but that it would be up again just as soon as this was done. I'm sure you'll all tell me if it doesn't reappear in the next few days!

Isn't keeping an eye on it the only way you can read it?
