p.s. Today I found myself concentrating more on my visual defects than on a presentation at work. I've always subconsciously blocked them out, now I'm consciously looking for them

I used to get the pulse rate "thing" but it just stopped one day about three years ago and has never reoccured.

I noticed yesterday when I got back from work late that I could see my pulse through the KC!

First time I have ever noticed it in 20 years of KC.

I usually wear contact lenses to correct my vision but yesterday I had an eye test so I had to arrive at the opticians without my lenses.

I do have a pair of glasses which give me some vision. Enough vision to read and cross a road - but not to recognise people who pass me in the street. The right lens in my glasses has only a correction for some of the eye's myopia but there is no correction for KC.

What the right eye saw yesterday as I was walking up a hill was:

Each car (at about 200yrds away) that was being driven down the road appeared to pursued by a larger vehicle. In each case the following vehicle was a paler shade - orange rather than maroon, or silver rather than graphite. At the bend in the road the following vehicle appeared to be on the pavement!

Scary or what!

Fortunately the left eye could see a little better!
