Andrew, I have to agree with you, but for £500 with Anne giving the A-n-e-s-t-h-e-t-i-c, as well, the offer is almost too good to refuse, especially with the whisky thrown in.
Louise and Anne, how about two for the price of one?
Got a date

LOL!!! I think the whiskey was to knock him out but Louise might nab half of it before then!!!
Andrew so glad to hear that you have got a date for surgery so quick!! That is wonderful news! Hehe had to laugh about the Valentines joke and nurses though!!!
Michael, i think that you have made a well informed choice on having it done privately. You are lucky to have insurance and your eyesight is worth a lot more than money!
Hopefully you will both get excellent vision straight away!! Not as long a recovery as KC grafts!!!

Hi Sweet, yes, I think you are right about the whisky but that's assuming Anne doesn't get to it first!
I have decided to resist their kind offers and so my cataract will be done on 30 January. I had to beat Andrew to it!
Of course Andrew is having his done on his grafted eye so thankfully he is over the worst.
I am optimistic that this procedure will confirm that I am nowhere near needing a graft and at last put my mind at rest.
