I see my consultant tomorrow i will mention it to him (he is a great guy and I talk to him about all kinds of things). My vision is quite blurred but I can't be sure now if it is any better than before. I guess if i can't tell any difference then it isn't. The headaches do concern me. At the moment i feel like all i have done is swap one set of symptons for another.

I feel like that about swapping symptoms. Let us know what he says!

I will do Craig. If anyone would like any other questions answered let me know this evening and i will ask my consultant tomorrow. Can't wait to see him (appart from the fact that he's a real hunk) I'm desparate to know how it's all looking.

Can you ask if there are any statistics of how successful a graft is, i.e. how many end up with better uncorrected/corrected vision, and how many end up with worse vision/astigmatism

I havn't had any headaches since my graft, but i have had sinus problems.

Craig if you can get hold of some Bells Menthol Crystals (Aromtherapy) they work really well. Just put a few in some boiling water and steam your head!!
Just don't put to many in because you won't be able to get near the bowl  They are very strong.

Hope everyone sorts there headaches out soon.

Of course you can ask any question that is important to your decison-making process.

You may want to ask two questions in this line. The first may be about general experience, over a global population with thousands eyes.

The second may be about your ophthalmologist's own track record: number of eyes grafted, survival rates for grafts, vision post graft, etc.

All the best

Andrew

Thanks Anne. I have several symptoms which tend to suggest Allergic Rhinitis. It probably doesn't help having a cat, but she gives me so much in therapeutic help I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place!
