I recently bought a lap-top and got rid of the old computer desk - when I was cleaning the space underneath - I found TWO old contacts, which I lost about 10 years ago. My delight was soon overtaken by shame, that I hadn't hoovered there for over a decade

lol. I actually find my lenses often fall straight into the keyboard if i lose them when i'm on the computer.

It's such a pain trying to pry them out from under the keys without breaking them though.

At work I have had a drawring pin come out of the notice board and get lost only to find every so often I got a stabbing pain when I typed. Careful investigation eventually lead to the discovery of the lost pin lodged under the keys!

My new lenses have a blue centre!
(my specialist couldn't give me a reason why) BUT it comes in very handy when they fly off my finger onto my bedroom floor!
Saves soooo much time!!!!!

some very good cases of lens lost. a few of mine include falling down sink into water trap. took some cleaning before put that one back in eye. another was while driving I blinked and lens shot out, had to stop quickly and took car apart but found lens in side pocket of drivers door, another was at local show and lens came out onto someones stall then borrowed a mirror from them to put back in. this was before my transplant days.
