Well I'm 16 days post graft today and all is going well. I'm still using the steroid drops every 4 hrs and noticed when I went out on Thursday and forgot to take them that i was in a hell of a lot of discomfort later that evening. I'll not do that again. I still have no improvement to my vision at all but it's still early days yet. The 'gritty' feeling that i was experiencing has settled a lot now, and i only seem to get it when i'm tired. I see th Doc again next Friday so i'll keep you all posted

Drops from a vial are presrvative free which is why they need to be discarded at the end of each day.
As with any eye drops, as long as the tip does not touch the eye, they should remain sterile for the rest of the day.
Keeping them in a fridge once opend helps preserve the sterility and is quite soothing when you use the next drop.

Thanks, saves me some money on prescriptions, now each prescription will last 80 days, not 20!
