The only time I get this is when I am overtierd and trying to concentrate.

With me it is as if my eye is suddenly moving from side to side really quickly. When it ahppens, it is only for a couple of seconds and goes away.

Not had it for a while.

I suppose it could be stress induced too.

i believe its the same thing, but it doesnt go away for me sometimes - sometimes it persists and can go as far as making me feel ill.

Hi,

Do you get a headache with? It could be a symptom of migraine.

I've had something like this occasionally, when I've been stressed out at work.

I used to see an effect like this, but it was always associated with headache and nausea. Yup; I lived with migraines for years, but they have stopped now that I have reached my early autumn!

Funny how we all have the same stories to tell.....even funnier that WE all know what we are talking about but if you tell your friends, they will seem to agree with you, then go down the street and snicker!

Yes, I have had that same quaking vision thing. Turned out to be a tremor/twitch in an eyelid muscle that jiggled my eyeball. Hasn't happened in a while now, but was disturbing when it did. I spoke with my favorite eye-guy during a regular appointment and he told me about the eyelid thing.

Carry on

I used to get an effect in my bad eye, where the distorted image would expand and contract in time with my pulse! Not sure what caused it and never tried to explain it to my consultant but it hasn't happened for over a year now.

OK...

This can be the eyelid tremor thing ( I get that myself occasionally and its REALLY annoying!) or it could be nystagmus.

Does it happen in both eyes or just one? And does the shaking vary if you look to the right or to the left? Also, can someone else SEE your eye/s moving from side to side?

I get the eyelid tremor occaisionaly usually in my right eye in fact it is doing it slightly as I write and as Lynn says it can be annoying. No one else seems to notice it when it happens though which I find strange.

Could it be my imagination and it isn't trembling at all I just don't know and I can't look in the mirror because I can't see clearly enough out of my left eye to focus on it. :?

Lesley.
