maybe im crazy

Postby Sarah M » Sun 03 Dec 2006 10:37 pm

hiya all, hope everyone fine.

got anooooooooother question for all u post graft folks.....

everything so far so good i think, no pain (was worryin for nothing), and the watering seems to be calming down, and this morning i didnt have to spend an hour tryin to unglue it open, but my worry is this....

its hard to describe, but every now and then it feels like my eye is like bulgin out, a bit like its trying to focus.....but cant. It isnt painful, wee bit like a dizzy feeling but passes when i blink. Am i crazy?

I really appreciate all the advice u lot give, and sorry if i pain in the neck,
Sarah

Hi Sarah :D

I don't remember anything exactly like that happening with either of my grafts, but I do remember that in the early days they were constantly changing, practically from hour to hour let alone day to day.

Is it still happening today?

Not sure if your crazy; but what you describe; does it occur when you try and focus out of that eye? ...if so then this Id describe as normal...as remember that the brain was used to seeing another distored image.....thats all i could think of

Alison and Jay - thanks for ur replies.

It happening a lot today, but thats probably cause i decided its time to stop milking the fact ive just undergone major surgery  and do somethings for myself lol. Think your right Jay cause its everytime I look at something that isnt close up. If it gets any worse, ill go get it seen too.

Thanx again, Sarah x

Hi Sarah

my eye feels different all the time, yesterday i could read with the grafted eye open but today i find it easier to see with it shut.
Its not watering now and its not stuck together in the mornings, but it is really itchy :x

I went out today and i even managed to cook dinner, we are sooooooo brave

i had the same problem after my grafts i still get it sometimes they told me it is to do with the pressure levels and that it wont damage the eye.

but id go to casualty and get it checked after all i wouldnt go to casualty and when i did i got told by the doctor that no thing is small and its best to get it checked over.

hope it sorts itself out keep us posted.

take care

james
