DALK done

Postby Andrew MacLean » Mon 30 Oct 2006 1:09 pm

Well, everything went well on Friday. Live tissue was used, with a healthy epithelium that wes left in place.

I had a bit of an adverse reaction on Sunday morning, so went up to the eye casualty at Gartnavel. The casualty doc increased my steroids.

Won't be posting much during the next two weeks as am away from my desk.

All the best

Andrew

Hi Andrew,

As the previously most-recent recipient here of a new cornea, I'm very pleased to see that both Piper and yourself have recovered enough to post.

I hope you both get a lot better very soon. I have to say that I'm a bit envious of your new epithelium; I didn't get one, and I'm still growing my own :D
John
