Barney

POTENTIALY yes.....but it really does depend on how far your KC has advanced, the shape of your cone, where its located, scarring, etc

Have you had a Topography done?....

Again, I dont want to confuse you mate.....as thast the last thing Id wana do to you.....its just im asking the questions that I asked myself before my graft......

Had topography done a long time ago and I understand there is some scarring. Don't mind being confused at all if it leads to the right answers.

About this guy and his nose, Barney :) ... Well its all a bit unusal lets just say in what he did in the search for perfection... He is very touchy that he wears thick glasses for his long-sightedness... and he was getting ghosting due to astigmitisum...

The very short story is he had RK to correct the ghosting, corneal thickness increased after the RK then for him to have laser (when previouly he was told his thickness was not enough to have laser to correct his long-sightness, he also traveled near and far for differant consultantions for things like implantable lenses due to this too), so to get rid of his glasses (which he wears for his long-sightedness)... He was really happy after the RK... and that should have been the end of the story... but oh no! he wanted to get rid of his glasses! (at all costs!?)... now he gets eye strain after the lasering so much he says he feels like his eyes are going cross eyed... and also that he can see his nose!!

Sometimes I think people like him have an obsession with vanity ...and things back fire big time!!

I did put the phone down thinking if only he visited forums/the web more and he would have been more in the know!!

Anyway sorry for the detour ...back to the topic in hand ...I think Barney you have your eye care sussed some what ...and just play it by ear ...and if your not happy with what your hearing ...then you are not happy!! and so proceed onward to tell your hospital, so that improvements to the service can be made, for you and others.

All the best, and i hope you get some joy soon with them.
