Excellent news Anne. :D I'll be keeping my fingers crossed that everything goes to plan and works out for you.

So, you'll be writing your Christmas cards extra early then this year will you? At least you've got plenty of time to get yourself organised. :D

Fantastic news Anne

Good to see Sweet back and posting.

I got a phone call from the Ophthalmology Waiting list administrator today. they could fit me in this morning due to a cancellation; how quickly could I get to the hospital.

An hour and a half (minimum; I am on the wrong side of the river to be able to make it in a single train journey) seemed long. Also I had not been to a pre-theartre assessment so would need ECG (I am really old now) and an interview with the anesthiatist about my apnoea. She decided it would be better to phone the next person on the list. :D

Still it is good to know that being in the system brings possible perks!

All the best Anne.

Andrew
