Does Systane etc count as medicine for flights

As above, going somewhere via stansted, need to know if i can take systane with me on the plane if my eyes get all screwy...

Best is to contact the airport or airline.

The reports are that only PRESCRIPTION MEDICINES ONLY so you will probably have to get your GP to write you a prescription. If your GP does this for one bottle, it will cost more, but if the GP writes a prescription allowing you to have 2 or more, you are then saving money.

I flew back on Sunday they said no eye drops at all.

Flying again Friday, things have been relaxed a bit.
