Transplant awarness week
I just wanted to highlight that this is Transplant awarness week, and also ask how many people did sign up to become donars after a graft or had already before a graft? I was one of those people who thought it would never affect me but it does hit home when you are on the other side of fence.

I signed up to be a donour post graft however here is the bad news.
Since getting a medic alert bracelet I was informed if you have had a transplant you are no longer eligable to be an organ donour
The committee are looking ino this further, but have already established that as we have had a transplant we are no longer allowed to give blood.
Something else I used to do.

That is bad news since I gave up giving blood some years ago as i was like trying to get blood from a stone in my case. so thought be a organ donor instead. how come cornea graft people can't give organs is it because the system has been compromised already? they are screaming out for people to get on the register?
