I play the XBox2 occasionally and have only noticed that I cant look at the screen for long periods and I also need to sit a bit further from the screen than before.....or I get a headache

KC is about facing the challenges it creates rather than accepting the problems it generates -

James,
I have the same problem as you if I have no lenses in. It is the brightness of the screen and having to sit so close to do the games that does it.
With lenses and sunglasses on, that is another matter. So long as I take regular breaks to prevent my blink rate going down and so eye drying out I am OK.
It is definitly a KC related problem, but if the games are fast moving and you tend to orientate the concole in the direction you are moving in the game along with your head as many gamers do, it is possible to induce motion sickness.

The motion sickness is due to your eye telling you that you are not moving (As Gareth says, you move the console so that it remains in the same position relative to your eye), while your ear tells you that you are moving.
Same as on a ship or even a car where you look at the box your are travelling in and it seems that you are sitting still, while your inner ear is giving a conflicting message.
Result, you feel giddy and even throw up.
