hi i had coneal grafts about 20 years ago because i had KC,i have worn glasses up to now but the vision in the right eye is not great,i just had my eyes tested and the vision is as good as it will get with glasses, the optition suggested i try wearing contact lens inthe right eye,my eyes are very sensitive to light and so i have trnsitions lenses,he said i could still wear my glasses aswell as a contact lens, but he didnt know what the lens was called, can anyone please advise me what lens is best to wear for a corneal graft person, sorry if this has been covered before

Welcome to the forum. There's now quite a range of different lenses for KC and all of them, as far as I know, are also used for people post graft. Since my grafts more than 25 years ago, I've always worn the corneal rgp lenses, but there are also now special soft lenses for KC such as the Kerasoft lenses, there are hybrid lenses (rigid centre, soft edge) and there are scleral and semi scleral lenses. So it's a question of finding the lens that suits you best - as with pre graft KC, I suspect we're all different in what our eyes will tolerate best. Good luck!
Anne
