Face mask then deep hair conditioning

Postby space_cadet » Sun 19 Jul 2009 1:01 pm

Random topic just because,

This morning my eyes wern't as dry as they have been possibly due to having to put drops in them on average every hour or less for hte last couple of weeks.

I decided to pamper myself by putting a face mask on

Image

managed to avoid it near my eyes for the first time in a while and then carried on having a productive day.

Came to taking it off and OMG! Used the cleanser I always use which is pure t tree water and made the mistake of forgetting to use a flannal and instead used my hands rubbing in circular motions, yowchity ARGGGHHH! does not come close to the eek eek, WAH that followed, thank G-d we have sound proofed walls or G-d only knows what the poor neighbours would have been thinking!

I then decided I am going to deep condition my hair which resulted in half a bottle of expensive hair treatment being aimed at my head over the sink int he bathroom AVOIDED my eyes and as I type have it tied up so avoid it running into eyes.

Have also managed to go to the shop accross the road tog et lunch and for the first time in a while not nearly get run over by not seeing cars until they are nearly on my toes.

So yeah productive but tip to all.

If planning face mask ask for assistance when takingit off as even if 100% natural ingreadients from LUSH it can still have the potential to sting like a bi*ch if it gets in your eyes.

Love the picture!! Reminded me of the other week when I answered the door to the postman with facepack on!
I use a wet flannel to remove mine but if my lens giving me grief I don't care I just yell.

I also find 'lens abuse' helps with coping although it has got me into some amusing situations like a conference I was speaking at a couple of years ago - lens decided to do a wobbly 5 mins before I was due to speak so I run to the disabled toilet as there's more room to throw everything onto the floor. You know what it's like when you're anxious your eye muscles can't relax and snap shut so I was struggling to get the lens back in after cleaning it so was shouting at it "GET IN YOU BA*****!!" God knows what people thought listening to that walking past the toilet...

Ended up with the conditioner on my hair for 6 hours as couldn't be bothered to wash it out. But got nice soft hair today.
