Help!
ANyone else here find giving up glaucoma drops made your eyes hurt?
Clinic appointment on Wednesday found the IOP was fine and I could give up the lumigan, so I did with great gladness.
Been getting adverse reaction symptoms to it for months - an dparticularly when I gave up the steroid drops.
Red, sore, itchy, swollen and spotty eye lids...
Last drop of lumifan was Monday (been using them every other day).
Eye now looks much better - the white bit isn't exactly white but is less red, and surface less itchy.
However, it feels dry and sore from being dry - put several doses of lubricating drops in todaya nd been drinking water even more like a fish than normal.
ANd it all jsut feels eye achey.
and one of those just-behind the eye headaches.
had a cup of tea and some ibuprofen earlier as the headache was spreading. Still went on feeling it was spreading and feeling like it was developing a full-scale migraine so went back to bed with more painkillers.
Back to just eye-ache feeling now (or I wouldn't be here on computer).
ANyone lese had this when stopping anti-glaucoma eye drops?
If so, how long did it last?
ANyone got any other ideas?
Really don't want to spend hours sitting in an A&E only to be told I'm getting paranoia (albeit not it wquite so many words) and it will wear off.
Really don't want to be spending Easter weekend sitting in an A&E anyway!! - or anywhere, and I hate going to THAT hospital with a vengeance by now.

NO-one else experienced this?
Good news is it's a bit better this afternoon.
As long as I don't think about it, anyway.....!
