I have KC in both eyes i had a graft in my right eye in 2005 after trying an intact which did not go to plan.

since 2005 i have been having yearley eye test and hospital appointments. I am now having pronlems in my left eye as it is getting weeker and is exstreamley sore, i am seeing my surgone tommorow as i had an appointment last week and the hopsital informed me that my KC was getting worse in my left eye. (Some sort of creases were found ) Also failed my eye test for the first time for driving so im hoping my surgeon can inlighten me on what is going on.

Adrian

All the best with your appointment.

As you know, Keratoconus is a progressive disease, and although yours seems to have been stable for some time, they kept monitoring your condition just in case this happened.

There are, however, lots of things that can be tried. it may be that you will be referred for a different sort of lens, or that any of the range of other surgical procedures will be discussed. Do not forget in these discussions that the only person who can decide on the course of action is you.

Every good wish. Let us know how you get on.

Andrew

ps welcome, or welcome back to the forum.
