I know people who have had groths on the cornea removed, so possibly a scar can be done too.

What lenses do you wear?

There are several manufacturers looking onto lens design and the soft ones I have been involved with don't rub on the cornea like my RGP's. They match the RGP's for performance but far more comfortable so I can get 6/6 vision with them. My eyes have a scar all round from the grafts and then my right eye has KC in the host tissue so I know they work on not only a KC eye, but one with a scar post graft too. Without lenses I am legally blind in my right eye, just give an idea of how well any lens must perform.

Let us know how you get on with lenses: sewing a cornea into an eye often leaves a ridge and I am sure that your experience will strike a cord with others.
