Michelle,

If its the Hospital at Old St (not mentioning names), then it might be the X Linking with OK lens at treatment, they are studying. There is a patient education attachment they will send out to anyone interested. The study has been going for some months although patients can still enroll if they wish to if they are still sending out the attachment which has joining instructions.

All the best

S

She mentioned something about that after this you wouldnt need the operation (graft) done but she said they might not take me as my astigmatism is high. so is this the same one.

There are other Studies... Cross linking (with-out the frills), genetics, the three point touch contact lens fit... to name a few.

I can dig out the pdf on the study that was mentioned earlier, if you want it send us your email by pm and you can have it, including anyone else.

It really depends from consultant to consultant and their experience on weather you are an ideal candidate or if there is one particular aspect that you could be helped with through a particular treatment.

Also, tell your Dr... why not just let the cat out of the bag :)
