Intacs re-implanted

Postby dplees » Fri 13 Apr 2007 4:23 pm

I am due to have my right intact re-implanted on Monday. I'll post how I got on as soon as the op is done - that is providing I can see to type.
Could someone please let me know if it is likely that I will be able to return to work on Wednesday.
I am going to East Grinstead and I am have been told that patients recover quickly and that there is little discomfort when the implant is done with the laser.
Also - does anyone have an idea of the intac retreatment process? I currently have an Intac in my left eye that was put in a couple of years ago and is sore - is anyone aware of how much time is required for the eye to heal ie between the point when the intac is removed and when it is retreated?

Thanks

All the best with the re-implant of your Intqcs.

I'd check with the surgeon on the date when you ought to return to work.
