lenses

Postby stokie » Thu 12 Apr 2007 11:21 am

my lenses are hard and fill the whole eye and are really uncomfy,if it were soft i think i'd manage has anyone known of any soft contact lenses what fill the whole eye? so that the scarring wont push em off?

also will squinting and putting pressure on the eye make higher risk of kerataconus getting worse?

how does kerataconus come is it because ive put to much pressure on the eye in the past or does it just come natural?

The problem with soft lenses and KC is that they do not always provide the right amount of correction to the external shape of the eye. However, I think that the Kerasoft lenses I wore at one time were about the same size as my sclerals, although they were not nearly as comfortable and did not give anything like as good vision.
