Hey Elizabeth,
Sorry to hear you're having so much trouble with your lens. It's such a pain when the lens gives you difficulties right when you need it the most. Is this a new lens that's giving you problems? If so it might be wirth going back to your optometrist to see if it is anything to do with the fit of the lens that is making it particularly unconformtable. You said you found the problem was when you went out - is this a general 'going outdoors' kind of going out, and problems with wind / dust / grit etc, or going out as in an evening out and a possibly smokey atmosphere that might be irritating the eye? I was wondering also if it could be a hayfever type reaction, especially given the time of year. Hang in there tho, and don't give up just yet x

Just as an experiment go out later and try wearing large (preferably) wrap-around sunglasses - It's a nice day so you will look very trendy !

(I'm sure I'm not the only one on this site who's done this on a 'bad lens day' only to realise its a) November b) it's pouring with rain and c) people look at you as if you are a Victoria Beckham style poser wearing sunglasses in the rain !!)

Good Luck !!

Elizabeth....

You are not giving anyone very much to go on here! I would need more details about your lens and what you have tried before to make any suggestions! Do you use comfort/wetting drops?

Have you talked to your contact lens fitter about the problem and if so what does he/she say?

Lynn
