Went back to moorfields today to see Mr Dart,and had another stitch removed so thats two now.
He did mention that i may need some more stitches put back in. Has anyone else had this done?
Apart from that there was no sign of infection nor rejection
I go back on the 16th Jan, when i guess he will arrange for me to have the stitches put back in!!!

I have heard of people having sutures restored after removal. I think that this was done to correct the astigmatism that became irregular when sutures were removed.

Sorry, I didn't put in my first post that the reason i may need some more stitches put in is because the graft has lifted a little bit.
And the reason i had one removed was because it was loose.

Good news that no sign of infection or rejection ......but how did you get on at the dentist!

The dentist was fine , just had a clean.
They sold me some brushes thar you poke between your teeth so you can give them a good clean, they are really good.
The best thing about going to the dentist is that you don't have to go back for 6 months Hooray!!

Well Anne, I think I'll keep the other six pearls until you begin to post the evidence: no point worrying you too soon! You only have 23 years to catch up.

When I was 46 I was twice your age. To be twice your age now I'd have to be 66 instead of 56. You're catching up!

Andrew you will always be 23 years older than me, no matter how you look at it.
You are younger than my parents (by 3 years!!!) so thats good.

I used my new brushes last night and this morning they are very good.

Back to my eye, it is hurting today which is probably down to having the stitch removed. but it still feels the same as it did when i went to casulty last Sunday. Don't get me wrong i am not moaning its just that it had felt so good. It makes me feel a bit uneasy.
