I believe this is a question for your contact lens fitter.
Only they can dicuss this with you and decide which will provide you with maximum vision and comfort.
People experience different things with the same lens, it's all about experimenting and finding what works for you!
I've never tried Rose K so can't help you with that one, sorry.
Good luck..

Kirsten is right. There are several different sorts of lens that are suitable for people with Keratoconus; the problem is that each of us has particular fitting needs, so the combination of style and materials has to be matched to the person who will be fitting the lens.
Perhaps you have no confidence in your optometrist's ability to supply and fir the correct lens for you. If this is the case, than you have my sympathy.
Were you ever going to be in the UK, check the page where different people have given recommendations for lens fitters that they have found in different parts of the UK who have the skill and the patience to ensure that each of us has the best lens for our particular needs.
Otherwise, why not Google lens fitters close to where you live?
All the best

As the others have said, it is not just the lens fit that is important, but also the type of lens.
We tend to refer to lenses as RGP's, but under this term is the 'norma' hard lens, Rose K, Rose K2, scleral, mini scleral and so on. The there are the soft lenses such as Kerasoft, soft perps, and RGP lens with a soft skirt and then piggybacking where a soft lens is worn with an RGP on top to name but a few. What is good for one is a nightmare for another.
Health of the ye and your own overall health also play a factor.
I could not wear a lens for more than an hour this time last year, but after six months of trying I found Systane eye drops worked for me and I got 2 hours comfortable lens wear. My diet has changed too in that most foods/drinks that have dieretic properties have gone and have I mainly drink water and no more than 2 cups coffee per day and the occasional glass of wine. this with the eye drops has now given me an easy 12 hours lens wear and I only use the ey drops twice per day.
Forget to keep up the water of miss the eye drops and my lens wear comes crashing down the next day.
Oh and I wear Rose K RGP lenses.
