hello all,I'm still alive!!!

Everything went well supposedly, although I seriously thought i was going to die in hospital....not through cornea graft, but an elderly lady wanting to kill me during the night!!

Someone has also stolen my voice, but hey ho. Eye is watering a lot...is that normal? cant see any improvements in vision yet, but its early days.

way to attempt to get me drops in, not as easy as it looks.

Thanks for all ur kind thoughts, and glad everything done well for u anne

thanks anne, same to you!

Watering has calmed down now, maybe it was just cause i was not long up. Spent all day sleeping yesterday, makin up for my fear full night. The poor old dear thought i had been stealin all her broches and demanded that i was removed. Next minute i heard nurse screamin, leave sarah alone,

Eye not sore like i was expecting, get the odd twang of pain, but i expect that.

take care

Sarah

Well done. You survived the ophthalmologist's knife and the crazed attack of the old woman. I am so sorry that you had this experience; violene in hospital is a problem.

sometimes people are admitted with an undiagnosed addicion (usually to alcohol). when they begin to dry out they become quite delusional and, struggling to make sense of a seemingly irrational world, they lash out.

It must have been really scary. Still at least it took your mind off your eye.

Sarah my eye is glued shut in the morning, i guess its normal. Got up today cleaned eye put drops in and then went back to bed woke up two hours later it was glued shut again!
Today i feel like i have something rubbing in my eye and it is a little uncomfatable, I have a check up at Moorfields at 2.00 so i will ask about the watering and the sticky eye thing.
