leaking vitreous humor

Postby piper » Sat 28 Oct 2006 5:02 pm

Just a short question. I just had a graft two days ago and am resting at home. The graft went well and the doctors seem pleased, but for a deep stitch which is leaking fluid from within my eye Has anyone else had this? how long will it last? is it serious? Is there long term danger for my eye? thanks! Piper

Hi Piper,

This has been reported before and the leak was quite small and within a few days the healing process was enough to stop it and no harm was done.

Regards

Gareth
