Well, i decided 2 weeks ago to put this to the test, reducing the font size on my pc. Trying to read a number plate at 20.5 meters lots of things. The fact is i can see a little better than i used to. I just cannot work out why

KC is about facing the challenges it creates rather than accepting the problems it generates -

The best advice is that you consume huge quantities of water each day, coffee and fizzy drinks don't count; coffee (and tea) because they contain large amounts of caffeine which acts as a diuretic actually reducing your hydration. Some fizzy drinks contain caffeine but they all seem to contain phosphorous and this leaches calcium and impacts on the body's ability to produce collagen.

I don't drink fizzy drinks unless it contains malibu as well!
But i am getting better in that i have a glass of fruit juice and one water a day now with a hot chocolate or tea so things are improving!
I know that if i don't get better the threat in work of being cannulated and given IV fluids will catch me!!

As far as I know, fruit juice is always acceptable as part of your daily water requirement. Well done on cutting down the coaffeine. i am down to two cups of coffe4e each day. now I have to reduce the four spoons of coffee I put in each cup.
at least I don't take sugar!
for details of how much water we need go here

Hehe i don't drink too much caffeine anyway and tea is nowhere near as bad as coffee although i know it is a natural diuretic which isn't good when i am need to drink more!
I love the smell of coffee but am not fond of it and drink it with sugar which is bad, so as i drink tea without it then tea it is!
Though water, water and loads more WATER would be even better!!
Sorry to go off topic here!
