Too much movement means the lens swings around when you blink or move your eye.
So when you look straight ahead everything is nice and sharp, but when you blink everything goes fuzzy because the eye lid is dragging the corneabecause the fit is too loose if my memory serves correctly.
RGP lenses need to move to get an exchange of tears underneath to continually oxygenate the cornea because you get pools of tears as the hard lens is unable to conform to the shape of the cornea, my understanding is that there is no need for this with soft lenses because they drape of the cornea.
This Kerasoft IC Online Training Video helps in understanding the fitting of these lenses which might be of interest.
Anyone interested in the Kerasoft IC lenses should take a look at the Kerasoft IC Pages on the web.

Re: Kerasoft Lenses
Thanks Gareth
Interesting stuff. I have made an appointment to see David Jory for a full assessment of my situation and get a topography done ect as recommended by Lynn. Hopefully this will get me a little further on. Whether it enables a better lens fit or I have Femto pocket or full cxl, I clearly need to know more and more quickly than I can get with the nhs!
As I sell jaguar cars for a living I can't be in a position where I can't drive at night or through the day of course!
Thanks for the info
